Frequently Asked Questions

Dates, payment, verification, deposits, insurance and late returns.

How should I determine my rental dates?
Your start date is the first day you need to use the gear; your return date is the last day you need it. We recommend scheduling pickup a day or two before your actual shoot to give yourself a buffer against unexpected delays.

Note: all rental dates are final, and no refunds are given for early returns.

Can I extend my rental?
Yes, provided we have available inventory. It’s usually more cost-effective to select a slightly longer rental period at the outset and return on time, rather than renting for fewer days and paying for an extension. It also helps us manage future reservations.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and Buy Now, Pay Later options such as Affirm or Afterpay.

We do not accept checks, prepaid cards, or gift cards at this time.

When will my payment be processed?
Payment in full is collected at checkout when you reserve your gear and dates. At pickup, bring a valid photo ID — your equipment is released after a quick identity check.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Identity verification helps us prevent fraud and protect both our customers and our business. Approval is usually instant, but it may take 24–48 hours to finalize. In some cases we may need additional information. If we cannot reach you in time or verify your details, your order may be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel any order if sufficient verification cannot be achieved.
Do you require a deposit for rentals?
Yes — depending on the value of the equipment, we may require a security deposit for high-value gear. This deposit protects us in the event of damage, loss, or other issues. If no damage or loss occurs and you return your gear on time, the deposit is fully released.
Do you require a certificate of insurance?
For high-value rentals we may ask for a certificate of insurance covering the replacement value of the gear in your order, naming 360ism as an additional loss payee. If you do not carry rental insurance, you’ll need an independent policy. We may still require insurance even if you’ve purchased our damage protection, particularly where theft or loss is a concern.
What happens if I return my rental late?
If you realize you’ll be late, contact us immediately to arrange an extension. We send a reminder email the day before your scheduled return. If we do not hear from you and the gear is not returned on time, late fees may apply.
How do you calculate late fees?
Late fees are calculated as a percentage of the initial rental rate, charged per day the gear is overdue. If a late return creates scheduling issues for another customer, you may also be responsible for any additional costs we incur to accommodate them.

If we receive no communication and an extension is not approved, we may pursue the full replacement value of the gear. Non-return of equipment is inexcusable, and we will take all necessary legal or civil action to recover our losses.
